TURBO ACTUATOR REPLACEMENT NOT FOR THE FAINT OF HEART, YOU WILL REQUIRE SPECIALIZED TOOLING FOR THIS!!!
STANDARD ENGINE BAY
THIS IS THE EASY BIT REMOVING THE AIRBOX'S AND INTAKE PIPES
THEN YOU WILL NEED TO REMOVE THE ALLOY INTAKE PIPE TO TURBO, ON THE RIGHT SIDE IT IS FAIRLY STRAIGHT FORWARD JUST NEEDING THE HEAT SHIELDING REMOVED TO MAKE IT A LITTLE EASIER AND THE CORRECT LENGTH EXTENSION BAR, HOWEVER THE LEFT SIDE HAVING THE STANDARD BOOST SOLENOID ATTACHED AND A/C COMPRESSOR VERY CLOSE TO THE PIPE MAKES IT A LITTLE BIT MORE FUN .
WITH AIRBOX REMOVED READY FOR THE INTAKE PIPE REMOVAL
AFTER THE INTAKE PIPE IS REMOVED ON THE LEFT SIDE OF THE CAR, NEXT IS THE ACTUATOR REPLACEMENT
THE STANDARD ACTUATOR AND THE UPGRADED HKS ACTUATORS
AND THE HKS ITEMS FITTED ON THE STANDARD TURBOS
LEFT AND RIGHT SIDES
THE RIGHT HAND SIDE WITH MANIFOLD HEAT SHIELD REMOVED GIVES U MORE ROOM TO REPLACE ACTUATOR
THE NEW HKS AND THE OLD INTAKE PIPES ONCE U REFIT THE HKS INTAKES U CAN THEN REINSTALL THE AIRBOX'S ECT
WHILE WE HAVE ALOT OF FREE ENGINE BAY ROOM WE DECIDED TO STEP AHEAD AND FIT THE NEW INTERCOOLERS SO OFF WITH THE FRONT BAR TO START WITH
HKS INTERCOOLER PDFTHE STANDARD INTERCOOLER AND AIR DUCTING IS VERY IMPRESSIVE UNTIL U SEE THE HKS ITEMS
THIS IS WHAT U HAVE TO CUT OUT TO FIT THE HKS INTERCOOLERS
STANDARD ON THE LEFT HKS ON THE RIGHT
AND THE HKS INTERCOOLERS FITTED.......
THIS IS THE HKS CARBON AIR DUCTING HUGE AGAINST THE STANDARD ONE !!!
THE BIG CURVE AT THE TOP OF THE HKS DUCT ALLOWS BETTER AIR FLOW TO THE WHOLE INTERCOOLER CORE
AND THE DUCTING FITTED
RIGHT HAND INTERCOOLER PIPING INSTALLED
LEFT HAND INTERCOOLER PIPING INSTALLED
